16. Weaves in ends
After completing the crochet for a flat piece and fastening off, it is important to prevent the yarn from unraveling. This can be achieved by weaving in both yarn tails securely.
1. Thread the yarn tail through a needle and then insert it behind a few stitches of the last row. Pull the needle and yarn through the stitches.
2. Skip the final vertical piece of yarn that the needle just passed under, and instead insert the needle under the same stitches in the opposite direction.
3. Once you have woven the yarn tail in opposite directions, cut the yarn as close as possible to the piece. Then, gently massage the piece to help the yarn tail to dis-appear.
