Crochet Abbreviations

Crochet patterns may seem like a foreign language at first, with many abbreviations and symbols that can be challenging to understand. However, once you become familiar with the terminology, it becomes more accessible to read a pattern.

Before beginning a pattern, verify whether it's written in US or UK terminology. The same crochet stitches have different names based on the country. All the patterns in HEJIN crochet kits are written in US terminology.
