Step 1: Crocheting the Head
[All in Skin Color Yarn] Magic Loop.
*At the end of each Rnd do a slip stitch to link the first stitch (Join Rounds)
*Make a chain stitch before starting the next round.
Rnd 1: 6 sc in magic loop (6) (See tutorials)

Rnd 2: 6 inc (12)
Rnd 3: 12 sc (12)
Rnd 4: [dec, 2 sc] x 3 (9)
Rnd 5-9: 24 sc (24)
Rnd 10: [sc, dec, sc] x 6 (18)

Rnd 11: Work in BLO, [sc, dec] x 9 (12)
Add the eyes between R6&7, with about 4 stitches.(See tutorials)
Stuff the head.(See tutorials)
Rnd 12: dec x 6 (6)
Fasten off leaving a long tail. Thread a needle with the tail. Use it to pull the yarntail through the ftont loops of each stitch.Pull tight to close the remaining gap.(See tutorials)
Step 2: Crocheting the Collar
Collar
For Santa: Main color is red, secondary color is white.
Rnd 1: Make 2 ch, 2 dc in same loop. Then make 2 dc in each loop until the end of the round. Join to the chain with a sl st.
1. Make 2 ch
2. Make 2 dc in each loop.
3. Join the chain.
Rnd 2: Make 2 ch, then make 1 hdc in each st to the end of the round. Join to the chain with a sl st.
1. Make 2 ch.
2. Make hdc in each st.
3. Join the chain.
Rnd 3: Change to the secondary color yarn, 1 sl st in each st to the end of the round.
Project 3-1: Santa Hat

Rnd 1: 6 sc in magic loop (6)

Stuffed the stuffing.

Project 3-3: Santa Beard

Rnd 3: [sc, inc] x 4 (12)

Flatten the opening and make 5 sc in the
next sts through both sides. Sl st end and
Fasten off with a long tail.
Project 3-4: Santa Mustache
Mustache
[With White Yarn]
1. Make 8 ch.
2. Start on the second ch from the hook, 1 sc, 2 hdc, sl st, 2 hdc, 1 sc
3. Finish this part by joining with 1 sl st to the first ch
Project 3-5: Santa Nose
Nose
[With Skin Color Yarn] Magic loop
Rnd 1: 4 sc in magic loop (4)

Rnd 2: 4 sc (4)
Sl st end and Fasten off with a long tail.
Project 3-6: Assemble
1. Sew the beard between Rnds 8-9, in the middle of the head.
2. Sew the nose in the middle of the mustache. Then sew this part to the top of beard.
3. Put the hat on the head, then sew the pom pom to the hat and sew the hat on the head.
